To look away - English idioms and phrases - idiomatic expressions # 27

 Today we have phrasal verb to look away.
For example I should look at you but I am not look at you and I am looking away.  Why I am looking away? Maybe you are ugly; maybe you are too beautiful and I am shy; maybe I don’t like you maybe you are too bright and you are like a sun and we should not look at the sun. So that’s the idea to look away. Listen to the dialogue:
Don’t look away from me when I am talking to you
Yes dad
Did you take the cookie or not
I was hungry.
